Understanding Your Spirit

I was all set with my blog topic for the week, and then today while cleaning the house I listened to a message by David Alsobrook. And my blog topic went out the window, because I’d rather promote his message instead.

In this message, which you can download for free or stream from whatever magical computing device you use, David speaks about what our spirits are, as opposed to our souls. This helps us understand which part of us is redeemed by Jesus and why it matters. (This ends up being relevant to the Enneagram and personality as well, as I think you’ll see.) He also shares an important insight about the nature of eternity and an astonishing fact about human nature that’s right in Scripture but usually overlooked.

Getting to the recording requires a short registration, but it’s worth it. Go to http://www.davidalsobrook.com/ and click on Resources on the left sidebar. Then choose “Free online video, audio, and books.” Here you’ll find the short registration form. There are only three required fields, one of which is already filled out for you! Click on “View Free Online Resources” and then choose the audio folder on the next screen. The last folder in the audio section contains the “Understanding Your Spirit” message. It’s about an hour long, if I’m recalling correctly.

Just in case this seems like an oversell, know that I don’t get a kickback from David for promoting him. I just think he should be wildly famous because what he talks about is really important, and I’m doing my part to make him so. Do yourself the immense favor of hearing this message, and then PLEASE share your reaction in the comments section below!
